Midlothian Tx Ranch home Re-design

Writer's picture: LW LandscapingLW Landscaping

Nestled against the clean lines of this 1970s ranch home, our new landscape design creates an inviting outdoor retreat that honors the architecture's midcentury roots. The formal structure of neatly trimmed boxwoods provides year-round greenery and frames the home's facade with timeless elegance. A striking Japanese maple serves as a living sculpture, its delicate leaves adding rich color and graceful movement to the composition. This landscape job was completed in Midlothian, TX.

We thoughtfully positioned Adirondack chairs to create a welcoming conversation area, encouraging outdoor living and offering a perfect vantage point to appreciate the garden's subtle beauty. The chairs' classic American design complements both the ranch home's relaxed character and the Japanese maple's Eastern influence, bridging different styles with casual sophistication.

This understated yet refined landscape proves that sometimes the simplest elements, when carefully chosen and placed, create the most impactful designs. The result is a landscape that feels both fresh and established, as if it has always belonged to this 1970s home.
